Prototype: Three different design passenger cars for the long-distance express FD 264 "Mozart". Two Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) type Bmz passenger car, 2nd class, and one Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) type Amz passenger car, 1st class. Train route: FD 264 from Vienna West Station to Strasbourg (-Paris East). Car sequence numbers 103, 104, and 105. The cars look as they did in 1987.

Model: The interior details are in multiple colors. All of the cars have factory-installed LED interior lighting. A buffer capacitor is built into each car to bridge over intermittent spots in the track without current. The cars have operating, current-conducting close couplers. The interior lighting works in conjunction with the dining car from the 23110 set. The assigned car sequence must be maintained for this. The roofs, side walls, underbodies, and skirting are specific to the types of cars. All of the cars have type Y0270 S trucks without anti-roll devices and without magnetic brakes. There are imprinted car route signs and sequence numbers. Restroom downpipes are included separately as parts to be installed on the cars. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". Length over the buffers approximately 84.6 cm / 33-5/16".
An add-on passenger car set with four more cars for the FD 264 is available under item number 23110. The class 181.2 motive power to go with these cars can be found under item number 25181. These two items are available exclusively for Trix Club members. This model can be found in an AC version in the Märklin H0 assortment under item number 42894, exclusively for Insider Club members.
