Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS) class Ce 6/8 III. Built starting in 1926. Articulated locomotive known as the "Crokodile". Use: Freight trains, more rarely passenger trains, on the Gotthard line.
Model: The locomotive is a conventional version for DC operation. It has a powerful motor with a bell-shaped armature. 6 axles powered. Traction tires. The headlights change over with the direction of travel. Length over the buffers 125 mm / 4-15/16".
