Product description
Model: The locomotive has a motor with a flywheel, and the tender body is constructed of die-cast metal. There is a digital connector in the tender. There is a close coupling between the locomotive and tender. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The dual headlights change over with the direction of travel. Length over the buffers 150 mm / 5-7/8".
A retrofit kit for brakeman's steps, rail guards, and a front coupler with a pocket are included.

Prototype information
There were plans in the series of standard design locomotive for the German State Railroad a fast Mikado freight locomotive. In 1936, the Berlin firm Schwartzkopff delivered the first unit of the class 41. This locomotive proved itself with more than just freight trains. It turned out that the railroad had a real general-purpose locomotive medium weight trains. After 1945, the DB and DR also used their units of this class for both passenger and freight trains.
