    Model: Era V. One locomotive has a motor and gear drive along with a digital decoder for DCC and Selectrix with automatic system recognition. This locomotive can also be run conventionally. Motor with a flywheel. 4 axles powered. 2 traction tires. The second locomotive has no motor and gear drive (dummy) and is permanently coupled to the powered locomotive. The locomotives have a close coupler mechanism. Length over the buffers 152 mm / 6".

    The Elbe Weser Railways and Transportation Company, Inc. (EVB) bought a total of six class V 100 / 211 diesel locomotives from the German Railroad, Inc. These units have been thoroughly overhauled and have been equipped with new Caterpillar motors. The external appearance of these locomotives after the overhaul now is closer to that of the DB class 212.
