Görlitz III lightweight trucks. Use: Express service between Berlin, Leipzig, and Dresden.

    Model: Era II. The locomotive comes with a die-cast metal frame and body. It has a digital decoder for DCC and Trix Systems with automatic system detection and can also be used in conventional operation. The locomotive has controlled high-efficiency propulsion and a sound generator. The motor is a new maintenance-free compact design C-sine high-efficiency motor. 3 axles powered. 2 traction tires. The locomotive has an articulated frame with controlled side play for the driving axles to enable the unit to negotiate sharp curves. The locomotive has closed side streamlining without additional cutouts or covers with side play. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm / 14-3/16" and larger. The headlights are white, maintenance-free LED's. The headlights will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlight for oncoming trains, the steam locomotive operating sounds that vary with the speed of the locomotive with the sound of squealing brakes when the locomotive comes to a stop, the acceleration and braking delay, the whistle and other operating sounds (sound of coal being shoveled, air compressor, injector, the sound of steam being let off, and steam chest sounds) can be controlled digitally with DCC or Trix Systems. The locomotive has NEM close coupler pockets at both ends and a representation of the Scharfenberg couplers (non-working). The cars have side skirting and truck covers with side play for sharper curves. Both end cars on the train have NEM coupler pockets.
