The prototype of the boat "Bugsier 19" or "Tug 19" was built in 1956 in Bremerhaven, Germany for the well-known firm Bugsier-Reederei and Bergungs-AG or Tugboat-Shipping and Salvage Company, Inc. in Hamburg, Germany. The great harbors on the coast could not function without the harbor tugboats. They maneuver the larger ships to their berths at the docks and are noted for their sheer unbelievable power and performance. This model was developed with the friendly cooperation of the magazine "Modellwerft" from the publisher VTH-Verlag, Baden-Baden, Germany.
