Product description

Model: Era V. The locomotive frame and body are die-cast metal. The locomotive has a digital decoder for DCC, Selectrix, Trix Systems, and conventional operation; the decoder automatically recognizes the DC power mode of operation. The locomotive has a miniature motor. 2 axles powered. The headlights are maintenance-free LEDs and can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has separately applied running boards and grab irons. Length over the buffers 40 mm / 1-9/16".

Prototype information

The Köf in (Non-) Retirement. There is a lively level of freight traffic on the Westphalian Provincial Railroad (WLE). The WLE has diesel locomotives of different performance classes for this. Among the small locomotives is road no. VL 0604, a Köf II built in 1948. It now belongs to the operational roster of the Westphalian Railroad Museum, Münster (WEM) and is used for special runs.
