Prototype: Elegant German Federal Railroad (DB) class E 10 express train electric locomotive. B-B wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1963. Nicknamed "Pant's Crease" due to the aerodynamically designed ends. Beige / crimson red paint scheme after being repainted. 5 TEE long distance express train passenger cars, 1st class: type Av4üm-62 TEE compartment car, type WR4üm-62 TEE dining car, and type AD4üm-62 TEE vista dome car in the classic cobalt blue / beige paint scheme. In the new beige / crimson red TEE paint scheme: type Avüm 111 TEE compartment car and type Apüm 121 TEE open seating car. The train looks as it did around 1967, the transition from Era III to Era IV.
