Prototype information
The German Railroad, Inc. has installed vending machines for snacks and beverages in several of its Intercity open seating cars. These so-called Snack-Point cars were transferred in part to DB Regio, which is using them together with bilevel cars in Regional Express trains. The Regio cars differ from the long distance cars in their "traffic red" paint scheme.
