Model: Era II. The locomotive has a die-cast metal frame and body. It also has an NEM 21-pin digital connector. The locomotive has a powerful can motor with a bell-shaped armature, built into the boiler. The locomotive's frame has axles with side play to enable better negotiation of curves. 6 driving axles powered. 4 traction tires. There is a close coupling between the locomotive and the tender. The locomotive has free-standing headlights with warm white LEDs. A smoke generator can be installed in the locomotive. The tender has a raised coal pile. The engineer's cab is well detailed, and figures of a locomotive engineer and fireman are included. The locomotive has NEM coupler pockets. Length over the buffers 235 mm / 9-1/4".
