Model: Era V. The car has die-cast metal Schnabel (goose neck) girders and truck bolsters. Die-cast press base with profiled fitting surfaces; the load frame is mounted to have side play. The load is removable, and the Schnabel girders can be connected directly to one another. The middle axles on the trucks are spring-loaded. Many separately applied details, NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism. Length over the buffers 595 mm / 23-7/16".
Notes for operation: This car can be used on curved track with a minimum radius of 360 mm / 14-3/16", but we recommend larger radius curves. Due to the overhang of the long supporting girders and of the load, signals, catenary masts, bridge railings, tunnel portals, etc. must be set back further from the curved track for clearance. The track must be securely mounted because of the considerable weight of the car.
