Function Decoder

The Function Decoder is used for activating turnouts, signals, uncoupler tracks and
other solenoid accessories. The
commands for activating
solenoid accessories are
conducted to the function
decoder via the Central
Control from the Lok Control 2000, the Control Handy or from the Encoder A via the track diagram control board;
the function decoder then activates the solenoid accessory to change to the desired setting. Eight switching functions can be set for continuous operation for color light signals or for momentary operation for solenoid accessories, with impulse durations of 5 milliseconds to 3 seconds. The feedback detection feature
takes place over the Data Bus, thus enabling you to monitor the turnout settings. The Function Decoder can be used in place of Encoder B to indicate occupation status in the track diagram control board.
The Function Decoder can be programmed for any address from 00-104. Can be connected to the Sx Bus.
